Crazy little Henry decided yesterday it would be a good idea to play outside in the mud ! He wasn't very excited when dad told him it was time for his first bath ! I layed in the hallway and stayed out of the madness in the bathroom.
He was less than thrilled to be taking a bath. I tried to warn him that was going to happen. Dad tried to tell him to get used to the water because most Golden's love water. I guess dad just doesn't understand there *is* a big difference between romping in puddles and a BATH !!
Hannah sat on dads toilet to supervise. She was getting a little worried she was going to be next and she didn't even get into the mud in the backyard.
We caught Hannah kissing up to dad just to make sure she didn't have to be next. She's such a little sissy sometimes !
Poor Henry ! Even though he looks miserable he made it through his bath safe and sound. He even got extra cuddles from dad all wrapped in his warm towel after his bath !!

What gorgeous close ups of Hannah & Henry...calendar material!
ReplyDeleteI didn't appreciate my first bath either but now I love them so much, I can't wait to jump into the tub & play "bite-the-water" with the spray nozzle :-)

ReplyDeleteI HATE baths and my mom just keeps giving them to me and gets the flashy box out to humilate me!!! You guys are all way to cute. Know what? My mom grew up her life in Denver and they got married there at Riverside Baptist church and 2 of her kids were born in Denver. They moved to IL in 1978 but they LOVE to go to Denver whenever they can. Maybe mom can e-mail your mom and they can get to know each other too as we get to know each other also.
I am looking forward to getting to know you better and seeing what all happens in your house. I have 2 little munchkins that live with me, 4 and 2 yrs old, they are my moms grandkids so I have lots of fun with them
tail ways right at ya

Hi,
ReplyDeleteOh no! the dreaded bath! I love water, just not in the bathtub.
You look very cute, Henry. Hannah's not taking any chances a little kiss up never hurt and Chandler's got the best idea...don't go in at all.
Luv, Lucy (Woof!)
BATHS. We don't need no stinking baths. that's what the lake is for.
