The PeePee Progress Report

Supervising Playtime, originally uploaded by Mssslaydbug.

Yesterday we went outside to enjoy some playtime. Mom was working on teaching Henry to fetch. He thinks that as soon as he catches it you lay down and chew on it - he has soooo much to learn !! I'm trying to teach him how important it is for Goldens to always have a ball in their mouth or near them at all times.

Hannah might be small but don't let that fool you ! She is faster than both Henry and I ! She is a little speed demon.

Henry is also learning to peepee outside. I'm such a proud big brother and just keep patiently showing him how it's done. He knows now that the minute mom or Dad come home he needs to go straight to the back door and sit. I don't think he has had an accident in a couple of days but we keep a pretty close eye on him just in case !

Hope everyone is having a weekend full of tennis balls, belly rubs and treats !! Bark ! Bark !

  1. Hi Henry, I'm 5 and I still often prefer to lay and chew, rather than give it back to the humans. It's so hard to let go of something as wonderful as a tennis ball :)

  2. You are a good supervisor!

I don't understand the fetch game - if the peoples wants the ball so bad, why do they throw it away? That is why I will it bring it back to them once, in case it was an accident, but if they throw it again, I will not bring it back.

  4. We love to play fetch over here too but we'll never give it back! How could we let go of something that we like?

  5. What a good big brother and mentor you are!! In our house, we also have someone who teaches the newcomers all they need to know about which toys are the most fun to play with and the best places "to go" outside!

  12. We are still trying to teach Callie that you bring the tennis ball back. You don't take it to your toybox and chew on it..
You are doing a great job teaching those little ones...

  15. Woof Chandler!

Looks like you are such a good big brother! Yes, of course, Goldens should always have a ball or something in their mouths and near by at all time!

  16. Hey Chandler,
You certainly are a GReat watch dog; watching the little ones and steering them in the right direction. We bet that your mom and dad just want Hannah and Henry to be just like you have been all of your life.
